About the Role
As Special Assistant to the CEO, you’ll be a force multiplier — expanding the CEO’s capacity across breadth, depth, and quality of execution. You’ll work side by side with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Executive Assistant, and operate as part of a high-trust, high-performance circle.
You’ll gain rare exposure to high-stakes decision-making, sensitive conversations, and strategic initiatives that shape the future of the firm. Your scope will be wide, your learning curve steep, and your impact immediate.
What You'll Do
Strategic Shadowing & Execution
- Shadow the CEO across key meetings and decision points
- Draft memos, synthesize insights, and manage action items
- Support strategic planning and drive key initiatives forward
AI-Driven Amplification
- Use Gen-AI tools and custom GPTs to eliminate friction and accelerate workflows
- Prototype intelligent automations and decision-support tools
- Continuously look for leverage points across the CEO’s workflows
Project Management & Operations
- Own cross-functional projects from zero to one
- Coordinate internal reporting, prep materials for board meetings, and support follow-ups
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure strategic alignment and execution
Research & Communication
- Conduct fast-turn research, market scans, and analysis
- Write clearly and crisply for internal and external audiences
- Maintain high standards for quality, clarity, and precision
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, CS, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent self-taught capability.
- Demonstrated fluency with Gen-AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python preferred), API integrations, and automation platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for building fast, functional MVPs.
- Exceptional written communication — you’re a clear, concise, and persuasive writer.
- Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and learns even faster.
- Willing and able to commute daily to the Manchester office.
