AI House
Incubator and pre-seed investor supporting applied-AI founders, formerly known as AI2 Incubator.
AI House grew out of an early conviction that artificial intelligence research could become the foundation for real companies. Its predecessor, the AI2 Incubator, was founded in 2014 inside the Allen Institute for AI, when AI company-building was still an emerging and often misunderstood effort. Over more than a decade, the team worked with founders on the difficult first steps: shaping ideas, finding customer problems, making technical choices, recruiting, and raising capital. In 2026, the organization became AI House, bringing its company-building work under a broader identity focused on Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
Today, AI House connects three parts of early company-building: community, incubation, and capital. Its community brings founders together with engineers, researchers, operators, investors, domain experts, and potential customers. Through its incubator, the team works alongside founders from the earliest stages to validate ideas, build products, find design partners, hire, and prepare for fundraising. AI House also provides pre-seed investment for applied AI companies, with a focus on real customer needs and strong technical and domain insight. The organization is based in Seattle and aims to help make the region a leading place to build AI companies.
