AgriBoom Ventures is an agricultural venture capital and private equity fund established by AGRO CS, a Central European supplier of soil substrates and fertilizers with more than 30 years of operating experience. The fund invests in agricultural innovation across two distinct strategies: venture capital spanning idea and pre-seed through later stages, and a private equity approach targeting European businesses with positive EBITDA, where the emphasis falls on technology integration, operational improvement and growth.

Sector coverage is drawn from the operating environment of its parent: agricultural biotechnology, agrochemicals, agricultural machinery and mechanical engineering, horticulture, gardening, soil substrates and fertilisers, and waste management. Geographic reach is stated as worldwide, with named activity in Europe, Central Europe, Israel, the United States and Canada.

The distinguishing feature of the fund is its testing infrastructure. Portfolio companies can validate technologies in real operating conditions through access to 3,000 hectares of operated farmland, an agricultural machinery engineering division, a biotech laboratory, and a network of more than 1,000 agricultural customers and partners held via AGRO CS. The stated objective is to bridge the gap between promising agricultural ideas and solutions proven in commercial conditions - a mandate that favours operator-led assessment over purely financial underwriting.
