Scope:
Support the Senior Learning Experience Designer and the 500 Global Education team in designing, building, and continuously improving high-touch learning experiences for Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, and Accelerator Managers across global programs. This role contributes to end-to-end learning experience delivery, from instructional and experience design to content development, facilitation support, and iterative improvement, ensuring programs are engaging, cohesive, and aligned to learner and business needs.
Essential Functions:
Partner with the Senior Learning Experience Designer to conduct needs analysis, define learning objectives, and design experiential, practice-based learning journeys.
Co-develop course outlines, session plans, facilitator guides, and participant materials for instructor-led and blended programs.
Interact with program speakers and Subject Matter Experts as needed to create and revise materials, and coordinate schedules for speaking engagements.
Build, update, and administer self-paced and blended courses using digital authoring tools and Learning Management System.
Design and update program assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
Analyze learner data and evaluation results to inform course improvements and learning design decisions.
Co-create and update learning design templates and reusable learning objects.
Use AI tools and research platforms to conduct market research, draft content, develop learning objects, and synthesize insights from learner feedback.
Ensure consistency, quality, and learner-centered design across modalities (in-person, virtual, asynchronous).
Organize and prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and work according to set timelines.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, Learning Design, Instructional Design, Psychology, Business, or similar).
4+ years of experience in adult education, learning experience design, instructional design, or curriculum development.
Demonstrated experience designing programs across multiple modalities: in-person instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and asynchronous online learning.
Expertise in creating high-touch, experiential, and peer-driven learning design.
Hands-on experience with learning design and delivery tools, such as Google Workspace, Articulate Rise/Reach, Thinkific (or similar LMS), and multimedia tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
An eye for visual design, and knowledge of usability and accessibility principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience working with project management tools and frameworks.
Experience designing learning for international and culturally diverse audiences.
Able to navigate and work well in a remote work environment, prioritizing projects and managing stakeholders across a global organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Venture Capital, entrepreneurship, startups, innovation ecosystems, or artificial intelligence.
