4BIO Capital is a London-based, international venture capital group focused on deep bio and precision medicines. Our objective is to invest in, support, and grow early-stage companies developing treatments in areas of high unmet medical need, with the ultimate goal of ensuring patient access to potentially curative therapies.
As we move into 2026, we are now seeking to further strengthen the investment team with an Associate. The successful candidate will be based in London and will gain broad exposure across early-stage venture investing within a biotechnology-focused firm.
We operate as a small, highly collaborative team. Associates are expected to work closely with Partners, Principals, and Analysts, and to take increasing ownership of core investment activities. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with complex scientific, clinical, and regulatory topics.
As an Associate, responsibilities will include supporting deal sourcing and execution, leading defined components of due diligence, contributing to investment committee materials, and monitoring portfolio companies. Associates will also contribute to thematic research and sector analysis, and will engage externally with founders, co-investors, clinicians, and key opinion leaders.
The role requires the ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis across multiple projects. This includes building and reviewing financial models, analysing scientific, clinical, and regulatory datasets, synthesising diligence findings, and communicating conclusions clearly and concisely for internal decision-making.

Support origination, evaluation, and execution of new investments across private and public markets
Lead defined workstreams within scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial due diligence

Qualifications
Prior experience in biotechnology venture capital, biotechnology, or the pharmaceutical industry is essential
Advanced degree in a life sciences-related discipline, typically PhD, MD, MSc, or equivalent
Financial training or experience is helpful but not essential, provided there is a strong analytical capability and willingness to develop investment skillsets
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Right to work in the UK
Application Process
Candidates interested in applying for this role should send a current C.V.
Interviews and assessment exercises will be held through March, with the successful candidate expected to start by April 2026.
