42CAP is growing its investment team. We're looking for an Analyst / Associate in Munich.
What the job actually is: following your curiosity into B2B tech and where AI is taking it, then turning what you find into a clear written argument someone can act on. Market and company diligence. Building the internal tooling and AI workflows we use to source and evaluate - a fast growing part of how we work, and somewhere you can shape things early. Helping portfolio companies with fundraising, hiring and go to market.
We're a team of six in Munich, investing €1-3m initially at seed across Europe. Four GPs, all of whom built and sold software companies before doing this. Being small means we ask for judgement early. It also means we have time to teach. We care about how you think, not whether your CV fits a template.
Part of the application is half a page on a company we should have backed, or one we backed that you think was a mistake.
