Role Overview
Reporting to a General Partner, this role supports fundraising and investor development for 16VC's inaugural fund. It is a remote position (based in the U.S. or U.K.) that requires travel across the U.S., U.K., and venture hubs for investor meetings and networking.
Key Responsibilities
LP Research & Pipeline Development
- Research potential investors including family offices and high-net-worth individuals
- Build and maintain a structured LP database
- Track investor outreach and follow-ups
Fundraising Operations
- Support scheduling and coordination of investor meetings
- Prepare meeting briefs and materials
- Maintain CRM and fundraising dashboards
Investor Materials
- Assist with pitch decks, data rooms, and investor updates
- Prepare investor reports and communications
Ecosystem Research
- Track venture capital events and conferences
- Research venture funds, startups, and ecosystem trends
Ideal Candidate
- Based in the U.S. or U.K.
- 2–4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, private wealth, or startup operations
- Strong research, organization, and communication skills
- Interest in venture capital and early-stage startups
- Self-starter mentality for small, fast-moving teams
- Willingness to travel for LP meetings and events
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $120k–$180k depending on experience
