m]x[v Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on funding and founding the future of cloud. We invest in the SaaS “picks and shovels” that power enterprises, and believe that big ideas are brought to life through ambitious dreaming, strong business operations, and disciplined founders. We are motivated by the power of entrepreneurial spirit and the ideas and individuals that will be key in shaping the future of how our world operates.

m]x[v was founded in early 2021 and is based in New York City. Our Founder and General Partner, Mark Ghermezian (founding CEO/co-founder of Braze), is an investor, founder, and operator who leverages his expertise, network, and knowledge of the cloud market to build the next generation of leading cloud companies.

At m]x[v, we are focused on supporting our founders during the early stages of their startup journey. Our team consists of strong operators & entrepreneurs that invest in disruptive early-stage cloud companies and incubate internal concepts into full-fledged companies.

The Operations Manager & Executive Assistant to the General Partner will be a key member of the m]x[v Capital team supporting the organizational growth of our fund and our two incubated companies (Gynger & Tildei) by supporting our Founder and General Partner, Mark Ghermezian.

The primary mission of this role is to support the General Partner by optimizing his time through calendar management and to oversee and manage daily operations for the fund and two incubated companies which includes general office management, event planning, and handling our billing/invoicing items.

You will have full visibility into the mechanics of running a VC and tech companies which might include attending and notating executive-level meetings, preparing Mark for presentations, managing the General Partner’s inbox/calendaring, following-up on projects/tasks, and preparing for weekly and quarterly leadership meetings - and everything in between. This intense role is a growth opportunity to contribute to the infrastructure of both m]x[v Capital and our incubated companies while working closely with an experienced founder.

The ideal team member is a passionate go-getter that gets excited about the future of tech, building community, and working on multiple projects at once. We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact by proactively building our internal infrastructure, being extremely detail oriented, keeping the team organized, and bringing high energy to the fund and our office. In this role, you will be coming into our NYC office from Monday - Thursday along with the rest of the m]x[v, Gynger, and Tildei teams.
