Job Summary

As an Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our investment team and contribute to the entire venture capital investment process. *This is a paid internship and fully remote. You will conduct market research, perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, and support portfolio companies. This position offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of venture capital, collaborating with industry experts and innovative entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential investment sectors, and target companies.
  • Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including financial modeling, competitive analysis, and market sizing.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investments, analyzing business models, financial statements, and industry dynamics.
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal discussions and external stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio companies by providing research, strategic analysis, and operational assistance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to share insights and contribute to investment decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare concise reports and effectively communicate insights.
  • Proficiency in Swift, Java, and/or Javascript is an asset.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, utilizing tools such as Excel or financial software.
  • Demonstrated interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
