SXC was founded by Gideon Yu, who brings 30+ years of finance, operating, and investing expertise to SXC. As CFO at YouTube, he oversaw its $1.65B acquisition by Google, and as pre-IPO CFO of Facebook, he led Microsoft's $375M investment at a landmark valuation. At Khosla Ventures and Sequoia Capital, Gideon developed a reputation for pairing financial acumen with operational excellence – most notably with Jack Dorsey’s Square. Backed by a strategic partnership with Alphabet and a seasoned team averaging 25+ years of experience in guiding companies to liquidity, SXC combines Gideon's investment and operational acumen with comprehensive expertise in GTM strategy, scaling, business development, leadership mentoring, and fundraising.
