The U.S. venture capital (VC) industry is one of the growth engines of the U.S. economy, with over $164 billion invested in 2019. However, Latinx investment professionals only make up an estimated 2% of the venture capital industry workforce despite comprising 19% of the U.S. population.

The mission of LatinxVC is to:

• Increase the representation of Latinx professionals in VC
• Support the career development of Latinx VC investors
• Build community among Latinx VC investors
• Provide educational resources that are related Latinx representation in VC
• Improve access to capital for Latinx-led venture firms
