Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day firm operations. This role includes designing and refining operational processes, managing workflows across investment and support teams, and ensuring efficient communication and coordination. The Director of Operations will oversee budgeting and resource allocation, monitor performance metrics, and implement tools and systems to enhance operational effectiveness. This position will collaborate closely with leadership to support strategic initiatives, improve partner and portfolio company experience, and maintain high standards of compliance and operational rigor.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management skills, including process design, workflow optimization, and implementation of operational best practices.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating performance metrics, creating reports, and supporting data-driven decision making.
- Proven Team Management experience, including coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience with Budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support organizational goals.
- Customer Service orientation, with the ability to support portfolio companies, partners, and internal stakeholders professionally and effectively.
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, technology, or AI-focused environments is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced setting with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
